My professional career started as a producer for TV commercial production houses, assistant director for TV drama productions and a script writer. During those early years I also served as a PR executive in a well known college called Lim Kok Wing Institute.
I then became the fashion editor of Citta Bella, an established fashion and lifestyle magazine from Taiwan for 4 years and started freelancing as fashion stylist. As a stylist, I worked closely with magazines like Her World, Vida, Le Prestige, Sister Pictorial (HK), FHM, Citta Bella, Bella Bride and Her World Bride magazines.
For my 31st birthday I decided to upgrade myself by taking London Image Institute and Image Asia Training, a major decision but absolutely the right choice for my life. After graduating from the training, I started E'mage Style Consultancy and have never looked back since. My first project was to create "Fashion Class", a column in my previous magazine Citta Bella and also in one of the mainstream newspapers called Nanyang in Malaysia. This special "My Fashion Diary" column which covers a whole page is all about my lifestyle stories. Every week, I share my experiences from my work, parties, travel and love stories with my readers with excellent response. In fact, I am planning to compile this and come out with MY FASHION JOURNEY book at the end of this year!
As well as all this, I have been interviewed in TV programs like "Fashion Forward" which are produced by the KL International Fashion Award Team, City Amoeba, a lifestyle and fashion magazine program (I’m the script writer as well) hosted by AMBER CHIA (Guess International Model) and several other radio show and TV programs. I have also conducted major public workshops since then and have been giving seminars and workshops for companies such as Louis Vuitton, Philip Wain, Stanford, Clara International, OCBC banks, Alliance Bank and Insurance Consultancy Firms.
