Course Manager
Emily is the Course and Continuing Program Manager and Trainer for London Image Institute. She has been training Business Development and IT courses such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Introduction to Business, Internship, and Career Development at the college level for over 20 years.
As a consultant for entrepreneurs and small business owners new to technology, Emily helps with Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, mail merges, and other high tech solutions. According to all her clients she has helped them understand and decipher the overwhelming array of technological advances with an amazing amount of patience and clarity.
Emily’s philosophy is inspiring. “Being a trainer and consultant gives me the opportunity to encourage students and business owners to reach for their dreams. I have shared in their success in finding jobs, starting companies and careers, and pursuing higher educational goals. Each course that I have taught has helped all my students and clients towards their professional goals.”
With Faculty awards in high performance, service excellence and educational methods, Emily excelled as an Adjunct Professor at the American InterContinental University, with centers in Atlanta, London and LA. As a faculty member in other continuing education colleges such as Georgia Perimeter, Asher School of Business and Shorter College, she also has 10 years experience training adults in interview and job search skills and coordinating placement services.
Emily is an active member of her church and has served on the board and also as President of the Atlanta Ministry with International Students. She is a member of the American Society for Training and Development. She holds a BA from Meredith College, Raleigh, North Carolina, and an MBA from Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina.
